  • 4 cups ripe watermelon chunks seedless if possible
  • 1 cup crushed ice or more as needed
  • 8 fresh mint leaves mint leaves plus extra for garnish

Method
 

  1. Cut the ripe watermelon into smaller chunks, removing any seeds if necessary, and place them into the blender.
  2. Add the fresh mint leaves to the blender with the watermelon.
  3. Pour in the crushed ice onto the watermelon and mint in the blender.
  4. Secure the lid on the blender and blend everything on high until the mixture is smooth and frosty, about 30-45 seconds.
  5. Pour the vibrant pink slushie into chilled glasses, watching it turn into a thick, icy beverage.
  6. Garnish each glass with a sprig of fresh mint for an aromatic and visual finishing touch.

Notes

For an extra burst of flavor, add a squeeze of lime before blending. Adjust the amount of crushed ice for desired thickness.
