  • 2 cups frozen mango chunks preferably peeled and pitted
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice about one lime
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger peeled
  • 1/4 cup cold water added if needed to thin the mixture

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method

  1. Place the frozen mango chunks into the blender.
  2. Add the fresh lime juice and grated ginger to the blender over the mango.
  3. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth, thick, and icy, stopping to scrape down the sides if necessary.
  4. If the slushie seems too thick to blend smoothly, add a splash of cold water and continue to blend until creamy and well combined.
  5. Pour the slushie into glasses, garnishing with a slice of lime or a sprig of mint if desired.
  6. Serve immediately with a spoon or straw, enjoying the bright, icy refreshment.

Notes

For an extra fizzy twist, add a splash of sparkling water just before serving. Adjust the water amount to get your preferred consistency.
