  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup adjust sweetness as desired
  • 1 cup ice cubes amount may vary for desired thickness
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract optional, for added depth

Method
 

  1. Measure out the milk and pour it into the blender.
  2. Add the sifted cocoa powder and honey to the blender with the milk.
  3. Secure the lid and blend on high until the mixture is smooth and the cocoa is fully incorporated, about 30 seconds.
  4. Add the ice cubes and vanilla extract to the blender.
  5. Blend again on high for about 1 minute until the mixture is thick, icy, and creamy, with a velvety texture.
  6. Pause the blender, check the consistency, and add more ice if desired for a thicker slushie. Blend briefly to incorporate.
  7. Pour the slushie immediately into glasses and serve with a straw or spoon.

Notes

For an extra caffeine boost, stir in a splash of chilled coffee before blending. Adjust the sweetness with more honey if desired. Serve immediately for the best icy texture.
